St. Andrew's Day 2001

Kildwick Church celebrated its patronal festival in style with three days of events for St Andrew's Day. Guest preacher Rev Stephen Tirwomwe and his wife, Margaret, from Uganda ied the communion service on Friday. They delighted the congregation with their singing. At the service a new banner, made by the church banner group to celebrate the saint's day was dedicated. An advent fair followed on Saturday morning, followed by a
ceilidh in the evening with dancing to the Buttered Peas Ceilidh Band. A candlelit Advent carol service of
readings and music compieted what had been a very Joyful and celebratory weekend.
