There were concerns about the weather forecast but event was blessed with a beautiful sunny afternoon, so warm that the chocolate melted on the cakes on the cake stall. Stalls were laid out around the church lawn and cream teas served in the Parish rooms.

Visitors enjoyed music from young people playing on their accordions, under the eye of their tutor Harry Hinchcliffe.

Several hundred red white and blue balloons were let go and they flew off to distant shores.

Now children are eagerly awaiting replies from the cards attached, to see which has travelled the furthest.

Proceeds from the Fair will be divided between the School and the Church.
